Meka M1 Mobile Manipulator |
The Meka M1 Mobile Manipulator robotic-platform is part of the CITEC Research Apartment. It is used in the CSRA project to explore research questions regarding human-robot-interaction in a smart-home environment.
The robot features multiple cameras, a laser range finder and microphones allow to gather information from the environment. A real-time-enabled computer controls the compliant force controlled actuators with four-fingered hands. An omni-directional base and lift-controlled torso enables navigating in complex environments.
