KogniHome is a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The research goal is to draft the future of living and focus on the inhabitants and their goals.

Smart homes and digitalisation became even more important. To face the demographic change we need to design new technologies that fade into the background and really help users to achieve their changing needs.

Therefor we develop hardware demonstrators with our business partners. For example an entrance door, a wardrobe, a guide light system, an assistant kitchen, seating furniture and a personal fitness coach. We think up intuitive ways of interacting with the future home with natural language and new interfaces.
