Thorsten Spexard received the diploma in computer science from the University of Bielefeld, Germany, in 2005. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Bielefeld in the Applied Computer Science Group. He has been working in the COGNIRON (cognitive robotics) project of the European Union and has joining the SFB 673 project - Alignment in Communication - of the German Research Society. Thorsten Spexard is interested in the design of system architectures and in integrating of software modules for realizing advanced human-machine-interaction on mobile and anthropomorphic robots.
