Marc Kammer received his diploma in computational and natural sciences in 2008 from the University of Bielefeld (Germany). Subsequently he joined the Cognitive Interaction Technology Center of Excellence (CITEC) graduate school (http://cit-ec.de/) as well as the research group for Applied Computer Science (Angewandte Informatik) at the University of Bielefeld.

His main interests are (Artificial) Intelligence and (Machine) Learning, both focused to imitate or recreate parts of human intelligence and/or general intelligent behavior. By focusing on these interests a goal is to get a glimpse understanding which components are responsible for human intelligence.

Current research focuses on knowledge representation and affordance learning in a developmental cognitive architecture. His research is assigned to the CITEC pillar 'Memory and Learning'.

Non professional but related interests are Information Theory as well as Theory of Computation and the big picture!
