Kai Frederic Engelmann studied Informatics and Natural Sciences at Bielefeld University. He received his Master of Science in 2011. His Master's thesis was an approach of natural language understanding from zero knowledge. From 2011 till 2014 he worked at Westfalia Europe and developed new solutions on warehouse logistics. He joined the research groups for Applied Informatics and Cognitive Systems Engineering in 2015. His fields of research are smart homes, adaptation and software engineering. He is involved in the KogniHome project.
